Why wont my mum and dad let my girlfriend stay with me?

Im 18 and so is my girlfriend, my mum and dad said she cant stay with me in case we have sex, but why can they moan at me for having sex when Im 18, and its not like they don’t do it, because that’s how I came about. Why are parents to hypocritical?

Because it is THEIR home and they don’t want THEIR home disrespected. If you want your girlfriend to spend the night, stop mooching off your parents get off your butt, get a job and you and your girlfriend get your own place. Being 18 doesn’t automatically make you a grown up when you are still living with mommy and daddy.
your parents are worried that you two will screw your life up by having a child now, you are too young for that kind of responsibility. They are just looking out for you. Have you ever thought that maybe they are coming from experience. It is not being hypocritical they are just keeping your Best interest at heart.
They don’t want you to grow up. Also, they could be control freaks. That’s how my parents are.
Because they don’t want to ruin your life and make a mistake. But hey, you’re 18 do whatever the fuck you want. I think they are being a little hiipocrtical, but then again they don’t want to see you be an 18 year old father.
