I will probably get a lot of PMSing girls lashing out at me here, but truly, women don’t really get THAT cranky when we have our periods.
Most just use it as an excuse.
I know that during my period besides the slight back pain, I’m myself. No yelling involved.

Lets imagine that every month, blood and blood clots like pieces of liver oozed out of your private parts. You also became bloated and uncomfortable and have excruciating cramping and back pain. Your nipples became puffy and painful and you felt like killing people. Not only that but you have to wear a pad there or stick a cotton tampon inside yourself so as not to bleed on your clothes. Who would you complain to? And don’t say, "nobody, I’d keep it to myself", because I have been married for many years and I know how men get when they only have a little cold virus. Multiply the cold by 50 and pass it to your crotch.
It is called PMS, and you’re just going to have to get over it. Being on your period makes girls extremely moody, and irritable. Not to mention it happens every month, and it is friggen nasty.
well i do it because everytime I get upset about something, some guy goes "are you on your period??" when I’m not.
