Deaf children frequently voice sounds differently than do people with the hearing to copy other people’ way of making sounds. This young girl’s moan might very well have been her happy-scared scream. At 12 years old, she is able to enjoy being deliberately frightened. You gave her a great haunted house memory, so be glad about about that.

Your heart’s in the right place, though. Ask yourself sometime about why it bothered you that of all the people you frightened in the haunted house that night, why does it haunt you still about frightening a handicapped person? Those are healthy, wholesome paternal feelings. Your male hormones are really kicking in and you have heightened feelings of protectfulness towards smaller or weaker creatures. Nice hormone, huh? : )

i think that you need to accept your actions and move on. everybody screams, it shouldn’t be different if she’s deaf.. i think that’s why you feel bad, because she’s deaf. she’s probably find now. be happy! and you are a good person for caring

Honey, they knew before they came to the haunted house what was going to happen there, they were going to be scaried there is no reason for you to feel bad just because she was deaf dosen’t mean you should be sad she knew what was going to happen
