Who do you think is the best female rock singer????
I personnally would go for Karen O from The Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Corin Tucker from Sleater-Kinney.
They sure can yell and moan.

I love Karen O. I also love Shannon from The Forecasts. She has a great voice. She is my vote for today, but back when, I’d say Janis Joplin, no doubt.

she’s pretty good, it might sound candy-@ssed but i think Kelly clarkson has a phenomenal voice.

For Screaming I like Candace Kusclain from Walls of Jericho, if you prefer emo then I would choose Hayley Williams from Paramore, and if you like indie music that sounds like lullabies then I would choose Greta Salpeter.

Lacey from Flyleaf is great, and Kelly Clarkson does have a powerful voice (and a huge vocal range), but I’d watch out for Dilana. She was the runner up on Rock Star Supernova, and Dave Navarro and Gilbey Clarke are helping to produce her new album. She’s the gutsiest female singer I’ve ever heard.
